We both feel very lucky to have lived in this beautiful area all our lives and would like to share with you our enthusiasm for the North York Moors, it's beauty, history and people.

We are proud of our track record of guests coming back to sample more of this charming town and Ashfield's hospitality.

We were given a 4 star rating by Quality in Tourism upon opening and in October 2008 were upgraded with a silver award. We were delighted to be among the finalists for Yorkshire Moors and Coast Sustainable Tourism Award in November 2008 as we both take environmental issues and the problems of climate change seriously.
